Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the NirooRemote app. By installing or using NirooRemote you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Scope
These terms apply to your use of the NirooRemote application (the „App") on Android and iOS devices. They apply in addition to the terms of the respective app store (Google Play, Apple App Store) through which you obtained the App.
2. License
You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable right to install and use the App on your own devices for personal purposes. Commercial redistribution, decompilation or modification of the App is not permitted except as required by mandatory law.
3. Scope of features and compatibility
NirooRemote controls Samsung Smart TVs from model year 2016 and later (Tizen-based) over your local network. We make no guarantee of compatibility with all Samsung models, firmware versions or network configurations. Individual features may vary depending on your TV model.
4. No warranty
The App is provided „as is" and „as available", without express or implied warranty. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted, error-free or fully compatible operation.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.
5. Limitation of liability
We are liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body or health, or from willful misconduct or gross negligence. For other damages we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal duty) and only up to the amount of foreseeable damage typical for such contracts. Any further liability is excluded.
In particular, we are not liable for damages to your Samsung TV, network or other devices that could arise from use of the App.
6. Samsung trademarks
NirooRemote is an independent third-party product and has no business connection to Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Samsung®, Tizen® and all related marks are registered trademarks of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. These marks are mentioned solely to describe compatibility.
7. Privacy
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy. NirooRemote collects no personal data and sends no data to external servers.
8. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to adjust these Terms of Service as needed. The current version is always available at nirooline.peivareh.com/terms.html. The date above marks the current version.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply in addition.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
